A blogging we will go.

Well I have decided to start this blog with the help and encouragement of my friend Megan. She created this cute page for us and we love it. The whole blogging thing is something I didn't think I could get into but I've been reading Megan's and its really grown on me. So that said a blogging we will go.

Today we went to my Nanny's house along with all the other 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren to paint pumpkins. This is one of my Nanny's traditions that we do every year together and let me add...all of the grandkids are grown. We are a bunch of big kids at heart at least. Since my little man is not able to paint with a paint brush we did handprints all over his pumpkin. I don't think he knew what to do with the paint on his hands.

After we got finished there we took him to McGee Farms Pumkin patch. It was sooooo cold. My poor baby's little lips were quivering. But we managed to do the hay ride where he picked out his first pumpkin, he fed the goats and saw some chickens. I picked out a beautiful yellow mum for my front porch. Even though it was very cold we still had a nice outing. Here are some
pictures from today's trip.

Bundling up and getting ready to go find a pumpkin! This happy look changed really quick when the wind started blowing in his face.

This is the pumpkin daddy helped him pick out.

This is the half smile we got at the very end. He was so ready to leave.

And we ended with a quick family picture. My little guy as you can tell was very excited about it.
